Atmore’s mixed martial arts training group Team Titan dominated the War V competition at the PCI Recreation Center Saturday.

Many of the Team Titan combatants took down their opponents in less than two minutes after the fights started in the event’s octagon shaped cage, which had been placed in the center of the cage.

Kyalo Coleman won the team’s first fight with 2:02 left in the second round. He defeated Travis Hill by submission.

“He was tough,” Coleman said about his opponent. “I’m glad I won.”

Gardner thanked everyone for coming out to the event.

One of the most impressive wins on the night belonged to Titan’s Michael Mitchell, who beat Brandon Grooms in 1:26 seconds. He also thanked the fans.

In one of the must-see fights of the night, Titan’s Dallas Scruggs, of Uriah, defeated Luger Boswell, of Opp, to claim the 150-pound amateur championship. That fight was called when Boswell tapped out 2:36 into the second round.

In the main event Brandon Jenkins defeated Renden Russell 1:20 into the first round.
