Atmore pee wee football is switching to a no-tackle, seven-on-seven flag football league. Each team will have 10 players with seven starters and three subs.

Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings on fields at Tom Byrne Park.

There will be multiple games played at a time and each will last about an hour.

There is no fee to register and registration is open to children ages 5 to 15.

Those interested can register Monday-Friday at Murray Johnson Insurance at 105 E. Louisville Ave.

Volunteers are needed to coach, work on field crews, announce the games and officiate. Anyone with questions can call Johnson at (251) 294-1128, or Jerome Webster at (251) 294-2352.
