Students at Rachel Patterson Elementary School enjoyed a visit from Atmore Fire Department firefighters Wednesday morning, as they learned about fire safety. The students got a chance to meet Smokey the Bear, Sparky the Dalmatian and a fully-dressed firefighter, and also were able to see the APD fire engine.
