The Escambia County High School Lady Blue Devils defeated T.R. Miller, 47-19, in the championship game of the county basketball tournament Monday at Flomaton High School.

With the game tied 6-6 in the first quarter, ECHS ended the quarter on a 7-0 run to lead 13-6 after one quarter of play.

From there, it was all ECHS as they doubled up T.R. Miller 10-5 in the second quarter to hold a 23-11 lead at the half.

In the third quarter, ECHS used a 16-0 run to take a 41-13 lead in the fourth quarter. In the fourth, both teams scored six points each.
