Donnie Eugene Donaldson, 60, originally of Atmore, passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, after a six-year battle with cancer at his residence in Alma, Mich.
He was the son of Marvin Eugene Donaldson and Myrtle Lori Jeter of Atmore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He passed away surrounded by his wife of 41 years, Connie Zimmerman Donaldson; a son, Patrick Donaldson (Daisy) of Bristow, Ind., a son, William Donaldson (Sheree), originally from Atmore; a daughter, Lisa Donaldson Leslie (Phillip), originally from Atmore, daughter, Chasidy Donaldson Tyree (Sam) of Stapleton; sisters, Lori Jeter Hadley of Perdido and Glenda Donaldson Monohan and brother, Billy Eddins of Atmore; an ex son-in-law, Stephen Burkett of Atmore; and 19 grandchildren.

Swanson’s Crematorium of Lansing, Mich. handled the cremation. Upon his wishes there were no services.
