Atmore Area veterans from the Atmore VFW Post 7016 held a Memorial Day/Armed Forces Day Parade last Saturday featuring numerous floats, JROTC groups and high school bands. The parade ended at the Atmore Area YMCA where a Memorial Day service was held to honor the men and women who currently serve our country and those that paid the ultimate sacrifice and recognize current JROTC cadets.
