The Escambia Academy Cougars go back on the road this week in search of their first win away from Bachelor Field.

The Cougars (4-3, 2-2) are undefeated in games at their home field this season, but have not had any luck when traveling to their opponents venues.

This week, the Cougars travel to Greensboro to take on the Southern Academy Cougars in an important region battle.

Cougars head coach Heath Gibson saidhe doesn’t know much about this week’s opponent.

“I know they are 3-3, but other than that I haven’t heard much about them,” Gibson said. “I know they are going to run the Wing-T and they’ll come right at us.”

The Cougars and Southern kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday night in Greensboro.
