PENSACOLA, Fla. – Virgil Michael Mixon, 63, of Pensacola, Fla. died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 in Pensacola, Fla.

He was born on June 25, 1947 in Mobile to the late Buck Mixon.

Survivors include, a brother, Tommy Mixon; two sisters, Sheila Reynolds of Texas and Sherry Mixon; a sister-in-law, Shirley Taylor of Alabama; four nephews, Rex Allen Reynolds, Gene Reynolds and Fred Reynolds, all of Texas and David Taylor of Alabama; four nieces, Angel Reynolds and Shannon Castillan, both of Texas and Cindy Taylor and Shelby Caraway, both of Alabama and many friends.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 in Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
