I grew up in Atmore and Poarch, and I have seen the town grow and change with time, through my child eyes.

My question to you is this: can you truly describe the ways that my beloved hometown has changed?

Can you mention the people, great and small, who have made a difference?

The events that changed both the faces of the people, and the face of my town?

If you can, Dear Editor, be proud, for you have observed the history of somewhere great, not in size or status, but in heritage and life..
