Those interested in riding trails through Baldwin County are in for a treat on April 30 when the Escambia Academy Athletic Club hosts a trail ride at the Matthew’s Hunting Camp.

The trail ride will feature two rides with the first beginning at 8:30 a.m. and running until lunch and the second running from lunch until dinner and featuring a different route.

Blaine Chastang said he hopes the event becomes an annual fundraiser.

“We want to make this an annual athletic fundraiser,” he said. “A lot of athletic clubs have different things they do, so we want this to become our fundraiser.”

To be a part of both trail rides the cost is $20 and includes all of the activities. A $10 meal ticket may also be purchased seperately and that includes the the BBQ (pork or chicken) lunch, hay rides, buggy rides, music/bands, kids games, jump house, horseshoe tournament and a silent auction featuring athletic event tickets, hunting and fishing trips.
