Cougars rock Jackson 14-7

The Escambia Academy Cougars closed out there season with a 14-7 win on Tuesday afternoon defeating the Jackson Academy Eagles in Jackson.
The Cougars played found an offensive rhythm at the plate in the first inning and continued that rhythm throughout the game scoring at least one run in the first six innings to come up with the victory.
In the top of the first, the Cougars struck first with two runs as Jarrett Hadley (2-for-5, 2R) and Chason Roley (3-for-5, 4R) led off the game by crossing home plate.
The Eagles responded with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first with Chancey and Ramey scoring to tie the game.
Escambia Academy grabbed the lead again in the top of the second putting one more run on the board with Michael Thompson (0-for-4, R) reaching base on a walk and scoring on sacrifice by Clayton Dyess (2-for-4, R) to give the Cougars a 3-2 lead.
After holding the Eagles scoreless in the bottom of the second, the Cougars increased their lead to two runs as Ryan Linam (1-for-3, R) scored on a single ripped by Dyess.
