Atmore Christian School loses to Santa Rosa Christian

Atmore Christian School opened the season 1-1 in the program’s first two matches of the season.

After a season opening win against Trinitas Christian School, the Lady Rams were defeated by Santa Rosa Christian School last Thursday night.

The Lady Rams fell 20-25, 20-25, 13-25 and 0-3.

Taylor West led the Lady Rams with four aces, five kills and nine digs in the loss.

Narisa Wiggins posted one aces, two kills and nine digs, while Aimee Jurjevich posted one ace and eight digs.

Jacinda Stahly recorded seven assists.

In their opening game of the season, the Atmore Christian School Lady Rams won their first ever match at their new gym defeating Trinitas Chrisitan School.

The Lady Rams defeated Trinitas in five games winning 25-20, 25-23, 15-10 and losing 20-25 and 27-29.

Leading the Lady Rams in the victory was Narisa Wiggins who posted 11 aces, eight digs and a kill.

Taylor West recorded 11 kills and six digs, while Jacidna Stahly had 13 assists and two aces.

The Lady Rams next game is Thursday night versus Central Christian School at ACS. Games begin at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity.
