Clara Kirchharr Messick – passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Don Messick; daughter, Donna M. Davis; sons, William D. Messick, Jr. and Jeffery Drew Messick; mother and father, Dovie and Johnie Kirchharr; brothers, Wilber Gene and John Mason Kirchharr; and sisters, Shirley Murphy, Jean Purvis, and Letha Carnley.

She is survived by her son, David (Judy) Messick; daughter-in-law, Beth Messick; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will received friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment was held in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
