Football heats up again Friday night when Atmore’s three area teams will put it all on the line in their fight for the postseason.

The Escambia Academy Cougars are the lone team that plays at home this week with the Cougars’ holding homecoming. Escambia Academy will host the Southern Academy Cougars with a large crowd sure to be on hand to see the team play and the crowning of this year’s queen.

Escambia County will stay in region play as they go south down I-65 Friday night. The Blue Devils will take on the Saraland Spartans in a match up that has playoff implications for ECHS.
