The United Bank Silver Eagles split a doubleheader with the South Alabama Vending Sluggers Thursday at Tom Byrne Park in 10 to 12-year-old Babe Ruth softball action.

The Silvers Eagles won the first game 13-9, but lost the second.

“We had some really good hits and drove in some really good runs,” said Eagles coach Lance Hodges about the first game.
