Poarch 12Us finish 3rd at NAYO tourney

The Poarch 12U boys finished third in the Native American Youth Organization tournament last weekend, falling 14-4 to Prodigy in their last game.

In other baseball action, Poarch lost 8-6 to the Seminoles out of Florida in 15U baseball action; and topped EBCI 7-4 in its first game of the day.

Daughtry and Shane had one hit each; Noah went 2-for-3; and Jason Davis went 3-for-3.

In 17U action, Poarch lost 5-2 to the Road Warriors on Saturday; and fell 7-2 to Choctaw, Miss. on Friday.

The Poarch 10Us fell 6-1 to the Yankees of Choctaw, and lost 5-4 to Code Red in earlier tournament action

In softball action, the Poarch 10Us lost 13-0 to the Cherokee Mavs, and 15-0 to the NC Elite; and fell 8-6 to Diamond in 12U action.

The older girls also fell in a big way 10-0 to EBCI in 15U action on Saturday.

On Friday, PCI fell 6-4 to EBCI in 17U softball action, and lost 8-8 to Native Pride.

PCI got a couple wins on Friday, downing Green 16-1 in 8U play, and topping the Diamond Warriors 4-3 in 10U action.
