Harold L. Oglesby

Harold L. Oglesby, 76, of Atmore, passed away Sunday Sept. 1, 2013, at his residence.
He was a retired building inspector for the City of Atmore, and was born in Pensacola, Fla. on Sept. 29, 1936 to the late Thomas and Eunice Gentry Oglesby.
Mr. Oglesby was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Velvarae Dempsey Oglesby of Atmore; two sons, Kenneth (Ksenia) Oglesby of West Lafayette, Ind. and Thomas Oglesby of Marengo, Iowa; one daughter, Rebecca Oglesby of Atmore; two brothers, Thomas (Terri) Oglesby of Ashland City, Tenn. and Don (Christine) Oglesby of Milton, Fla. and one sister, Helen (Robert) Spohn of Pensacola, Fla.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 from Atmore Memorial Chapel with Minister Billy Randolph and Minister Brad Sullivan officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of all arrangements.
