Gracie Ellen Weekly Smith, 76, of Atmore, passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in Atmore. She was a homemaker, born in Baldwin County, on Oct. 17, 1936, to the late Ficher and Annie Stewart Weekley.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Dudley Smith; a granddaughter, Tracy Ramer; and her two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors are two sons, Terry (Pam) Weekly of Manvel, Texas, and Christopher (Miranda

Holland) Ramer of Perdido; one daughter, Sheila (Vernon) Ramer of Perdido; one sister, Luverne (Andrew) Mitchem of Perdido; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday Oct. 4, 2013 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Interment followed in Hall’s Fork Church of Christ Cemetery. Family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Active pallbearers were Tommy Weekley, Clint Weekley, Christopher Ramer, Nathan Styron, Donnie Blackmon, Scott Harris and Morgan Mills.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc., was entrusted with all arrangements.
