I didn’t know if your readers were aware, but the recycling machine next to Pepsi can actually help you make donations to various civic organizations.

To do this, press the green donation button and select your charity (such as the YMCA), and load the cans. The dollar amount will be flagged for that charity, and the operator will then provide the donated funds to the charity.

As you recycle, please consider this as one small way you can help the YMCA turn those small pennies into big dollars.
