The Escambia County High School Blue Devils baseball team recently picked up two straight wins, including one victory over a team that beat the Blue Devils earlier in the season.

ECHS won at Monroe County on Monday, March 9, earning a 12-1 victory. Tanner Smith hit a grand slam in the win.

The Blue Devils also won Tuesday, March 10, defeating visiting Flomaton by the score of 8-3. Flomaton had previously defeated ECHS at the county baseball tournament on Feb. 27, by a 3-1 score.

The wins improved the Blue Devils to 3-7 for the season.
