Habitat for Humanity’s Restore in Brewton is continuing its mission of being a good steward in the community by joining with GDB International Inc. to offer a new line of premium green products.

Robyn Hydar, Restore manager, said the new line is not only better for the environment, but it’s also better for the consumer.

“With the addition of Evolve paint products at the Restore, we are now able to offer a great product to consumers at a great price,” Hydar said. “This new line is the next generation of recycled paints that will meet the needs of customers at a better price than any other paint retailer in our area.”

Hydar said the new paint line would be offered in one-gallon and five-gallon sizes in seven popular colors.

“We understand that more and more consumers want to make environmentally responsible decisions, and we want to help in that area,” she said. “The Evolve line is an ultra-premium recycled latex paint that manufactured from post-consumer paints through a very innovative technology. This technology creates a product that does not sacrifice quality in the process and is more cost-effective for our customers.”

The paints, which arrived this week, are durable, washable and boast a one-coat application, Hydar said.

“We are excited to be able to offer this product to consumers in our area,” she said. “Several Habitat Restore retailers are moving toward more environmentally friendly paints for consumers. We are happy to be part of that trend.”
