A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Perdido woman Tuesday morning, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Stella Mae Mace, 68, was killed when the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree, Trooper Jamie Maloy said.

“Mace was pronounced dead at the scene,” he said. “The crash occurred on Baldwin County 47, 14 miles northeast of Bay Minette.”

Northing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
