As an incentive to improve attendance at Perdido elementary and middle school, Principal Phillip Stewart and the Perdido Incentive Program (PIP) committee came up with an idea which all of the students loved — an ice cream Sunday.

A total of 188 students were treated at the end of the first quarter to ice cream with a choice of syrups and toppings.
