Escambia Academy dropped to AISA Class 2A from 3A in the most recent reclassification that was released on Wednesday.

The Cougars’ football team will be playing in Region 2 for the next couple of years against Autauga Academy, Clarke Prep, Jackson Academy, Pickens Academy and Russell Christian (Miss.) Academy.

In basketball, baseball and softball, the Cougars will play in Region 2, Area 1 with Clarke Prep and Wilcox Academy.
