3 ECHS players sign scholarships

Three Escambia County High School football players signed scholarships to play football in the next level Monday morning.

Rashaan Flavors signed with Huntingdon College; Gaetyn Thames signed with Tennessee Valley Sports Academy; and Devante Dailey signed with Alabama Prep Sports Academy.

Thames led a packed running back corps this last season before an injury put him on the sideline.

Flavors contributed at quarterback and fullback in his senior season, and Dailey was a top contender at wide receiver.

Dailey and Thames also had a role on defense.

Thames is the son of Pamela Thames; Dailey is the son of Lavon and Erwin Dailey; and Flavors is the son of Santanya Flavors, all of Atmore.
