ECHS sophomore excels at camp

Escambia County sophomore Dimitri Wiggins attended the Nike Basketball Camp at Homewood High School on July 25-29. The Complete Skills Camp is intended to help players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.

Wiggins won first place in the 3-on-3 competition.

Wiggins is the son of Tamara Gray and Artemus Wiggins Sr. He’s the grandson of Billy Bynum and Glenda Roberts, and Wayne and Sandra Gray.
