Escambia County’s Lady Blue Devils finished runner up in the Northview Dig Pink volleyball tournament last Thursday.

ECHS fell 3-1 (26-24, 14-25, 11-15) to W.S. Neal in the championship.

In the first round, the Lady Blue Devils beat the host team, 2-0 (25-16, 25-16).

In JV tournament action, the Lady Blue Devils beat WSN 3-1 (25-18, 12-25, 15-5) in the first round; and fell 3-1 (22-25, 31-29, 16-14) in the championship.

Escambia Academy fell in the first round of the region tournament to end its season.
