Two Escambia County High School athletes were nominated for Bryant-Jordan awards recently.

Jade Adams was nominated for the Bryant-Jordan Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award, and Devon Robinson was nominated for the Bryant-Jordan Student-Athlete Achievement Award.

The program, named in honor of the late coaches Paul “Bear” Bryant of Alabama and Ralph “Shug” Jordan of Auburn, recognizes regional scholar-athlete winners selected for their excellence in athletics and academics and achievement winners chosen for their ability to overcome major obstacles during their high school careers.
