EA still at No. 6 in latest ASWA poll

Escambia Academy didn’t move in the latest AISA basketball poll after it was released Wednesday by the ASWA.
The Cougars (11-1) are still ranked at No. 6 after a 49-31 win over Sparta Academy, recently. EA has beaten Central Christian, Marengo and Morgan Academies since the holiday break.
The Cougars tip off against Wilcox Academy tonight at home, and then against Jackson tomorrow.
Escambia County, in Class 4A, were nominated, but not ranked.
