Escambia Academy moved up one spot to No. 3 from No. 4 in the final AISA ASWA boys baksetball rankings, which were released today.
The Cougars (17-1) beat Russell Christian 58-56 last Friday; Fort Dale 57-44; and Clarke Prep 68-35 over the last week.
Against CPS, the Cougars started on a 30-11 run and didn’t looke back.
Gary Campbell knocked down four 3-pointers in the third quarter on his way to a 19-point night. Fred Flavors chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Kainoa Gumapac added 9 assists and 5 points.
Trey “Louie” Turner had 9 points and 7 rebounds.
