Escambia Academy won its home-opening track and field meet on March 1 over Bessemer, Glenwood and Clarke Prep.

The Cougars finished the varsity meet with 246 points. BA came in second with 132, and CPS had 62 points in third. GA finished with 46 points.

In girls, Glenwood finished first with 97 points. BA and EA finished second and third, respectively, with 79 and 78 points, and CPS finished fourth with 66 points.
