The first Market in the Park event was held Saturady at Heritage Park.
Vendors lined the circumfrence of the park, and a good number of visitors stopped by to see what was being sold, organizers said.
The Market in the Park is an opportunity for locals to sell their produce, crafts and other goods.
The event will continue on June 24, July 8 and Aug. 12, from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day.
Fresh produce, arts and crafts, canning and other goods are welcome.
