Revenge was sweet for Escambia County in a 72-52 road victory over Flomaton on Dec. 14.

The No. 5 Blue Devils led 25-18 after the first period, and pulled away in the second to lead 38-25 at the break.

From the onset, ECHS dominated the boards, grabbing 34 total rebounds — 11 offensive — during the game. Additionally, the Blue Devils forced 11 team steals.

In the second half, FHS did a good job of staying in the game, but ECHS had the game in hand down the stretch.

Malik Brown led ECHS with a double-double 22 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds; Lue Williams also had a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds; and Demetrion Barnes chipped in 12 points.
