Four teams will vie for the Cal Ripken 12U District Tournament title this weekend in Atmore.

Monroe County, Flomaton, NWE and Atmore are set to kick off action at the Cal Ripken Field at Tom Byrne Park this Fri., June 8, at 5:30 p.m.

The tournament is in double elimination format with the championship slated for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The tournament schedule is subject to change.

In the first round of action, Monroe County faces Flomaton at 5:30 on June 8, and NWE plays Atmore in the night cap at 7:30.

Action on Saturday picks up at 10:30 a.m. with the semifinals of the winner’s bracket. The first game of the loser’s bracket starts at 1 p.m.

If the championship isn’t decided on Sunday, then a must-win game will be held on June 11 at 6 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults, and $2 for those ages 13-18.
