After graduating, Brenda became one of the best caretakers in the business. She helped diligently with all the chores in the household, especially rearing the Johnson’s Family off springs. She was a jewel in that department.

Not only did she work endlessly in the household, community or neighborhood but she worked tirelessly in her church. Brenda was one of the greatest door greeters or should we say ushers that ever existed. Her presence is sorely missed intensely at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, but her spirit will reign forever.

Early Saturday morning of July 13, 2019, an angel ascended from heaven and placed Brenda in that sweet serenity we call heaven.

Those who will forever cherish her memories include her loving and devoted mother, Ms. Bessie M. Johnson; sister, Joann (Don) Jefferson; brothers, Willie Charles, Robert, Pastor Allen (Tenesha) and Nicholas (Lawan) Johnson; grandmother, Mrs. Beatrice Johnson; special uncle, the Rev. Jacob (Yvonne) Archie; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends; and one special friend, Vanessa Rothchild.

Funeral service is entrusted to Christian Memorial Funeral Home of Atmore. A public visitation will be this Fri., July 19, 2019, from 2-7 p.m.
