Gracie Mae Gunn went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2019 at the age of 89.

She was a lifelong resident of Bratt, Fla.

She was a retired seamstress at Vanity Fair.

She was a mother of two daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Jackson of Brewton and Sandra (Willie) Hughes of Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Michael (Joyce) Gunn of Bratt, Steve (Linda) Gunn of Byrneville, Fla. and Wayne (Donna) Gunn of Bratt; one brother, George Williamson of Pace, Fla; 12 grandchildren, Jason (Erica) Jackson of Brewton, Randy (Allison) Jackson of Brewton, Rodney (Holly) Jackson of Brewton, Lynn Gunn of Byrneville, Gary Gunn of Byrneville, Shonna (Eric) Gilmore of Bratt, Lynae (Nick) Clarke of Tallahassee, Fla., Joy (Ryan) Malone of Atmore, Brian Conway of Flomaton, Tracey (Troy) Strength of Navarre, Fla., Haley Gunn of Bratt and Kaitlyn (Austin) Strehl of Bratt; and loved by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Chester Gunn; her parents, ET and Lillie Mae Williamson; three sisters, Mary Denton, Louise Brantley and Ida Bell; and one brother, Pete Williamson.

Special thanks to Century Care, Dr. Smith, and Jay Hospital for taking great care of our mother.

Funeral services were held on Aug. 4, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Peebles officiating.

Interment followed at the Godwin Cemetery in Bratt.

Visitation was held Aug. 3, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Randy Jackson, Rodney Jackson, Brian Conway, Gary Gunn, Ryan Malone and Nick Clarke.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
