All-American softball Pitcher Jaala Torrence signed with the University of Alabama softball team recently. Her father,Jeff Torrence, signed in 1991 to play football with the Crimson Tide. Torrence is the proud granddaughter of Dr. Marian Torrence; and the great-granddaughter of Coach Cornell and Mavis Torrence.
