Mr. James “Jimmy” Lawrence Williams, 73, of Atmore, answered the master’s call on Sat., Sept. 5, 2020 at Covanent Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola, Fla.
A native of Savannah, Ga., Mr. Williams has lived in Atmore for the past several years. He was retired from Mancraft Paper and he had served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church of Atmore.
Those left to cherish memories of his life are his loving wife, Augustine Williams of Atmore; step-daughter, Schemenia Johnson; two step-sons, Michael Johnson and Jermaine Johnson; a sister, Lillian V. Haynes of Savannah, Ga.; step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
