Blue Devils win 1st game of season
ECHS to play Monroe County for homecoming this Friday
Escambia County picked up its first win of the season in a 13-9 decision over St. Michael Monday night in Atmore.
The Blue Devils and Fairhope team kept the game close early in the contest.
ECHS head football coach Scott Mason said two touchdowns were called back, and his team fumbled the ball twice.
“We ran the football on them all night,” Mason said. “We threw the ball a little bit better.”
