Joyce King Braswell, 74, of Atmore, passed away on Oct. 1, 2020 in Mobile.

She was born on Jan. 7, 1946 in Brewton to the late Dewey and Addie Fuqua King and was a member of New Home Church in Poarch.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Ivan King, Allie Belle Strength, Madeline Minchew, Dewey King Jr., Jenelle Moye and Shelby King.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Russell (Kelly) Braswell of Little Rock, Ark.; her daughter, Cathy (Jed) Dukes of Atmore; her step-daughters, Elaine (Chuck) Bender of Marianna, Fla. and Carol Lynn (Rick) Appel of Texas; her grandchildren, Selina, Laraby, Stormie and Riley; and her great grandchild, Aubrey Grace.
A funeral service will be held today, Wed., Oct. 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Atmore Memorial Chapel in Atmore with Bro. Steve Breceda officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.
Active pallbearers will be Jeremy McGee, Chad Smedley, Randall Reed, Galen Mock, Anthony Hall and Dylan Baggett.
For the safety of you and others, a facial mask is requested by the family.
