Mr. Thomas “Rex” Spicer, 65, passed away on Mon., Nov. 30, 2020, in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Spicer was born in Andalusia, was former resident of Bratt, Fla. and had resided in Atmore for the past 18 years.

He loved his family especially his wife, daughter and grandson. He was a licensed electrician in Florida and Alabama, was an outdoorsman and loved to fish.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Beulah Spicer.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sarah Jane Spicer of Atmore; one daughter and son in law, Tiffany and Michael Byrd of Atmore; one brother, Robert (Stephanie) Spicer of Atmore; one grandson, Jaxon Byrd; special niece, Alida Tecun; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held this Sat., Dec. 5, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Hall officiating.

Burial will follow at the Serenity Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Dec. 5, 2020 from 9 a.m. until service time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Weston Milstead, Ronnie Milstead, Brett Roberson, Michael Segers, Michael Byrd and Ken Roberson.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
