Douglas B. Snider, 91, of Huxford, passed away on Sat., Nov. 13, 2021 at his home in Huxford surrounded by family.

He was born on Aug. 9, 1930 in Huxford to Ambrose Jesse Snider and Georgia Ann Nolin Snider.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; and one son, Randy Lamar Snider. He was the last surviving sibling of four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Judith Marie Henderson Snider; his children, Gwendolyn Marie Snider Silcox, Sandra Darlene Snider Fortune, Wanda Susan Snider, Kenneth Ray Snider, Karen Kay Snider, Wendell Thomas Snider, Timothy Lee Snider, Sherry Jacqueline Snider Strength and Marsha Renee Snider Wilson; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held this Fri., Nov. 19, 2021 at Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery in Huxford at 2 p.m. with Bro. Doug Odom of Atmore Baptist Temple officiating.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 18, 2021 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
