Escambia County defeated Hillcrest-Evergreen 8-6 Thursday night in regular season softball action.

With the victory, the Lady Blue Devils are riding a three-game win streak as they travel to play Flomaton next Tues., March 21.

Against Hillcrest, Tyrinee Robinson struck out six batters in her second-straight win on the mound.

Nataziana Staples and Braliegh Lambert had two RBIs each. Staples added two runs and six stolen bases. Lambert had two stolen bases.

Hannah Montgomery scored two runs and stole five bases; Tyqaja Brown had two RBIs, scored one run and had three stolen bases; Kaliyah McCants had four stolen bases and scored two runs; and Deandria Adams had a hit, two stolen bases and one run.

Junior varsity kicks things off at FHS at 4:30 on Tuesday followed by varsity.
