Escambia County’s Stephen Williams was selected to play on the South squad during the 27^th annual AHSAA North-South All-Star Boys’ basketball game during All-Star Week July 17-22.

All-Star week includes rising seniors playing in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball.

Williams, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 12.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals during his junior season. He is the first in school history to play on the All-Star team.

Williams joins Baker guard Labaron Philon, who was named Mr. Basketball for the 2023 by the Alabama Sports Writers Association; Jefferson Davis guard Jamicah Adair; and Valley’s Brandon Thomas and Cam’Ron Dooley, to name a few.
