Atmore’s 15-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars fell to Opp 6-0 in pool play today at the state tournament in Tallassee.

Opp scored three runs in the first inning to surge ahead early, and added two runs in the fourth to pull away. The Bobcats scored one run in the sixth inning.

Jayden White went 1-for-3 to lead Atmore behind the plate.

With the loss, Atmore advances to bracket play as the No. 2 seed, and will play Tallassee at 2 p.m. Saturday.
