“Everything went real smooth,” McGhee said. “On Saturday, when the rains came, we had to stop for four to five hours. Other than that, everything else went smooth, and we didn’t have any issues.”

McGhee added that all who attended the tournament said they enjoyed it.

“Hopefully, next year we’ll get more teams and more people in,” he said.

Results by sport and age division included:

  • 8U girls – Hummingbirds of Choctaw, Miss., first place; the Hunters of Oklahoma, second place
  • 10U girls – Diamond Elite of Cherokee, N.C., first place; and The Rez Socks, second place
