The Atmore Police Department is still trying to locate a local man in reference to multiple burglaries and thefts.

According to the APD’s Facebook page, Mario D. Mendez has multiple active warrants for his arrest.

Mendez should be considered armed and dangerous due to the theft of several firearms, APD officials said.

Those with information regarding the location of Mendez, are asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the APD at 251-368-9141.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law, according to a release.
