Escambia County fell 50-7 to Jackson tonight in region action on the road.

Blue Devils head football coach Vincent Harris said the team had a lot of miscues.

“Jackson is a really, really good football team,” Harris said. “They played. It was a clean game. We’ve got to get back to the drawing board.”

Escambia County’s Lorenzo Arnold scored the Blue Devils’ lone touchdown.

With the loss, the Blue Devils fall to 5-2 overall, and 2-2 in Class 4A, Region 1. ECHS hosts region opponent T.R. Miller next week.

Harris said his team will have to win the next three region games – TRM, Bayside Academy and Orange Beach – to secure a postseason berth.
