Registration for Atmore Cal Ripken Baseball has been extended until March 16, according to officials.

Those interested can register each day at the Atmore Public Library, located at 700 E. Church St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The registration fee is $40, and must be paid with player’s application, according to officials. Players will be furnished a jersey and cap.

The ages and divisions include T-Ball for ages 4-to-6-years-old; baseball, coach pitch for ages 7-to-8-years-old; baseball, player pitch for ages 9-to-10-years-old; and baseball, major 70 for ages 11-to-12-years-old.

Games start April 3.

Additionally, league officials said help is needed. Those interested in coaching or assisting with the league in anyway are asked to provide contact information.
