Mr. Jack Ray, 70, passed away on Sun., April 28, 2024 in Mobile.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee (Annie Ruth Sanspree) Ray.

He is survived by his one son, Josh (Holly) Ray, of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Jennifer (Russell) Smith, of Vancleave, Miss.; one brother, Johnny (Charlene) Ray, of Canoe; one sister, Judy (Jack) Taylor, of Ocala, Fla.; five grandchildren, Gracie Smith, Eli Smith, Haleigh Dove, Haley Smeltzer and Brooklyn Ray; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held this Fri., May 3, 2024 at noon at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with the Rev. Robert McLaney officiating.
Burial will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on May 3, 2024 from 11 a.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
Pallbearers will be Russell Smith, Brent Glass, Copelan Glass, Jeremy Ray, Eli Smith and Trevor Glass.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Claxton, Rusty Glass and John Swift.
